The route of the Wachau Railway runs on the left bank of the Danube. A one-way trip, for example from Krems to Spitz an der Donau, costs €18,00, €24,50 there and back and €65 or €15,50 for seniors aged 21 and over.

Until October 8.10.2023th, 3, the DDSG Blue Danube ships will operate three times a day between Krems an der Donau and Melk. The MS Austria of Brander Schifffahrt only runs once a day over the entire distance from Krems to Melk. The second trip only goes to Spitz an der Donau and from there back to Krems.
